Ryan Calloway’s Hot Baked Goods

The Hot Baked Goods is a San Francisco–based vintage jazz band serving up high-energy New Orleans traditional jazz and swing built for the dance floor. Formed by Lindy Hoppers and shaped by years inside the social dance community, the band blends deep respect for early jazz traditions with an infectious, modern performance energy.

Founded in 2012 and led by multi-instrumentalist and internationally acclaimed lindy hopper  Ryan Calloway, the group has grown from casual jam sessions to performing at major swing festivals, dance events, and vintage celebrations, earning a reputation for tight ensemble playing, strong groove, and an intuitive connection with dancers. Many members are active dancers themselves, giving the band a natural feel for pacing, energy, and repertoire selection that keeps floors packed.

Using era-appropriate instrumentation and a playful, welcoming stage presence, The Hot Baked Goods creates performances that resonate with dedicated dancers, jazz fans, and new listeners alike. They deliver joyful, swinging music that brings people together and keeps the spirit of vintage jazz alive.
