Thursday Night Festival “Appetizers”

Special We3 Reunion Concert
(Bonsai 7:00pm – 8:15pm)

Admission $25

A long-standing tradition at our festival, the annual Thursday night We3 reunion is sure to please!  Whether you’re a fan of hot music, sweet ballads, or humor (or all three), you’ll be amazed at the synchronicity achieved by clarinetist Bob Draga, pianist Jeff Barnhart and drummer Danny Coots.  It’s as if they share one brain, and no-one knows who has it at any given time!  This one fills up, so get your tickets early.

GREAT GATSBY BLOWOUT with the Graystone Monarchs!
(De Anza 8:30pm – 10:45pm)

Admission $30

Come dressed as yourself OR your favorite collegiate flapper or frat boy, gangster or moll as we celebrate the Roaring 20’s and Sophisticated 30’s in our main ballroom! Great music for listening and cheering, along with two dance floors for your dancing enjoyment.

Percussionist Josh Duffee is the leader of The Graystone Monarchs, a 10-piece dance band that performs music from the 1920’s and ’30’s. The Graystone Monarchs will feature Andy Schumm, Justin Au, Dan Barrett, Nate Ketner, John Otto, Don Neely, Frederick Hodges, Katie Cavera, Marty Eggers and Josh Duffee. They’ll perform the music true to the era, taking you back in time to what it would have sounded like if you were listening to the original group in person. Their music comes from the libraries of the Jean Goldkette Orchestra (1924-1929), McKinney’s Cotton Pickers, Fletcher Henderson Orchestra, Frank Trumbauer Orchestra w/Bix Beiderbecke, Duke Ellington’s Cotton Club Orchestra, King Oliver Orchestra, and many more groups! The music will be hot, the beats infectious, and you won’t want to miss what everyone will be talking about for the rest of the festival!!

ATTEND BOTH EVENTS FOR $50

Please note: Thursday night events are separate from festival badge purchases
