Welcome to the world of After Midnight, where timeless melodies, innovative arrangements, and soulful rhythms transport you to the golden age of jazz!

Based in Denver, After Midnight is a collective of seasoned musicians dedicated to delivering captivating performances that celebrate the essence of jazz. With a repertoire spanning classic standards, original compositions, swing, blues, and Latin jazz, this versatile ensemble brings a touch of sophistication and joy to any event.

Led by award winning Clarinetist Roger Campbell, their musicians have graced prestigious stages and enchanted audiences worldwide.  They have established themselves as trailblazers in the jazz world, garnering acclaim from fans and critics alike.  You may have seen them at festivals in Sun Valley, Sacramento, San Diego, Madison, Vail, Evergreen, Littleton, and more.  They’ve also appeared on Rocky Mountain PBS television and have their picture in the Colorado Music Hall of Fame at Red Rocks!

After Midnight’s sound and style is modeled after the legendary Benny Goodman Sextet. They even sport the same instrumentation – Clarinet, Vibraphone, Guitar, Piano, Bass, and Drums.  Their hard driving swing is refreshing and infectious, inspiring dancers and bringing toe-tapping joy to listeners of all ages. This music is incredibly difficult to play and they enjoy making it look and sound effortless.

After Midnight, a cornerstone of the jazz scene for the past quarter-century, is thrilled to make their debut performance at the 2025 Monterey Jazz  Bash by the Bay!  Join them for a swingin’ good time!
